04Common questions

Answers first.

How do I create a Level2 account?

Use Create account at the top of any page. It creates a Level2 account, which signs in to the Level2 Client and to OUTREMER. Verify your email from the message the account service sends.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password. A reset link goes to the email on your account. If that email no longer works, submit a ticket with the topic Account and sign-in.

Can I play OUTREMER now?

OUTREMER is in development and not released. Test sessions are announced in #playtest-info on the OUTREMER Discord, with the build, who is invited and what is being tested. An invited player redeems the session's code on the account page. A Level2 account, the Discord or the waitlist on its own does not grant a build or a seat.

Where will the game be available?

OUTREMER is in development for Windows PC. Steam and Epic Games Store are the planned stores, and macOS and Linux are planned systems. No store page is live yet. Release timing and platform availability will be announced on playoutremer.com.

How do I report a bug?

Use the feedback page. It walks through the build, what you expected, what happened and how to repeat it, then lets you send the report by email or copy it into the #bug-reports forum on Discord. A crash that stops you playing is better as a ticket with the topic Crash or technical problem.

The game crashes or will not start.

Submit a ticket with the topic Crash or technical problem. Include the build, the time it happened, your Windows version, graphics card, processor and memory, and what you were doing just before. Attach any crash report or error message, plus a screenshot or short video if you have one.

How do I report another player?

Submit a ticket with the topic Report a player: the session, the time, the player's name and what happened. Screenshots or video help. On Discord, contact a moderator or use Discord's own report tools. Do not post accusations in public channels.

My waitlist confirmation email has not arrived.

The confirmation is sent from updates@playoutremer.com. Check your spam, junk and promotions folders, and add the address to your contacts. If it is still missing, submit a ticket from the address you signed up with.

How do I unsubscribe or change my email choices?

Every OUTREMER email ends with a link to manage or cancel your subscription. For any other data request, submit a ticket with the topic Privacy and data. Details are in the OUTREMER privacy notice.

Someone asked for my password or payment for test access.

That is not staff. Staff never ask for passwords, recovery codes or payment for test access. Do not reply or click any links, and send the details in a ticket.

I found a security problem.

Email support@level2.studio with Security in the subject line and the steps needed to see the problem. Keep it private until it has been looked at, and do not access other players' data to prove it.
